Industrial, edgy teen bedroom
Hate this look/colour scheme. Typical red/white/baklava to create a masculine look.

important factor in the design—solid woods, concrete, and raw metal were selected because they stand up to day to day needs of a family’s use yet look even better with age. Brick wall surfaces are carefully placed for the display of art and objects, so that these elements are integrated into the architectural

Is this for floor? The floor looks black.
entered the mainstream. Whether they're honed or polished, they telegraph industrial chic like few other materials can. But wood (preferably showing its age), epoxy, simple tiles, or even rubber can be pitch perfect. Here's a test: Would you put it in a warehouse? If the answer is yes, you're good to go.

I'm tempted to create a light fixture like this....for a patio or something. I like it. Build it from copper...would age nicely outdoors.
Wooden sliding doors. These are obviously too large for our space but I love the look
Love look and feel...nice courtyard look

Duncan Avenue Basement Renovation
How high is the ceiling? Are the vents and ductwork covered or just painted? Cool look!
What kind of paint is it and how did you apply it? Looks great!
process of finishing my basement. I love your concept in this picture. I went to home depot to look at 2 x 2 kiln dried wood and its not the true 2x2 wood. The molding along the ceiling in your pictures looks larger than what i've seen at home depot. Is your molding in this photo along the ceiling true
Does the heat rise into the first floor more because the ceiling is not drywalled? I love the look of the bare joists painted, and it gives the feeling of more height in a ceiling with a low basement.

Hi, thank you for asking. The windows are custom made wooden transoms. I wanted them to look somewhat like iron, so I painted them a color called "Railings" by Farrow & Ball. It is a charcoal-black color.
shows how it could look but I don't like the many mullions
