what wood are the beams and what finish was used
i like the way it looks like glass. I'm looking to blend my kitchen bar with my glossy blue/gray cabinets.
Weathered trusses - light brown/gray. Can't tell whether ceiling is white/lighter or same as trusses.

We have just stained my newly laid white oak kitchen floors for what is to be my new gray and white kitchen with a 1/3 gray 2/3 ebony combo and it is pretty but not gray. Contractor is willing to correct, but I prefer
of ebony/gray. The combo you describe above is heavy on the ebony. I would recommend doing 1/4 ebony and 3/4 gray. But please have your contractor do test samples in-field. That is a must. So you can approve before he does the whole floor!
