What color stain is used on the stairs and floor? Jacobean?
It's probably a walnut stain, but didn't keep track of what it was called. Every wood/stain combination gives different results, so it's best to find a few colors you like and test them out on the actual wood you are using.

Look into Jacobean and Coffee style stains.
Thank you. We had quartersawn red oak in our last home. It was a honey tone stain (we bought the home that way). Like it with the dark stain. Good job! If you still have the details of how you achieved the tone, stain, finish - I'm "all ears". Thank

Does anyone know how these floors were done and the actual color? - dye, stain, acid, water? Thanks
What color stain or dye was used on the floors? Thank you!
To me it appears to be very slightly acid stained concrete or possibly stined then acid washed to remove some of the color, then sealed Or it could be an old floor lightly polished thereby leaving some of the old stain and wear
