for the backsplash in my kitchen. How do I seal the "seam" where the wavy edge of the metal sits on the smooth top of the countertop? I don't want water seeping behind the backsplash!
Hello, corrugated metal is generally used in locations where proper flashing profiles can be used above, below, and at corners to help divert water out and minimize moisture behind the material. Give that this is not a standard use, if you want to carry it down to the counter you may want to consider
up behind the material 4-6 inches that could also be sealed below with silicon or kitchen approved caulk. I would also suggest a slight slope so any water that splashes up can drain back onto the counter. Most manufacturers also make a foam profile to fill the openings in the shape; however, it is not
