Need more tiles to do this chevron pattern than traditional subway?
Love how this looks and it's different from a traditional subway brick pattern
pattern, but I'm wondering if it takes more tiles to complete, and if the tiles are still the same standard subway size. Thanks.
Can you tell me what tile you have used for the backsplash?
The backsplash tile is 2x5 Suprema, glossy white, from Art tile. (510) 547-8288. It is on the pricey side at $17SF. A similar tile, Horus Broadway Latte
Latte, 2x6 from import tile (510) 843-5959 is about $8 SF. The pattern works fine with a $3 SF DAL tile, K101, 3x6 also.
These are narrower tiles, about 2" x 6". I did this at my house and there was not much waste.
