Please can you advise who are the manufacturers of the wood frame glass sliding doors. Can you suggest some alternative manufacturers if you are not sure?
Windows and doors are a custom product from Grabill Windows of Michigan. http://www.grabillwindow.com/ Other vendors we considered were Duratherm, Dynamic, Loewen and Marvin.

new interior courtyard. On the second floor, kitchen, dining, living, and a bedroom overlook the glass-walled space. Another common feature: sliding doors enabling access to this small space, which is treated like an abstract landscape with rocks and sod.

Grabill Windows and Doors provided all fenestration for the project, including the lift-slide doors you see here. All were custom designed, engineered and built in Michigan. They make a terrific product. http://www.houzz.com/pro/tgrabill/grabill-windows-doors
something similar with my own yard. Alas I only have 15x39. :( 7'6" x 10'6" doors - what a luxury! Beautifully done.
You're right Jason. That was a typo in the previous comment. The courtyard is 24' x 38. The doors are 7'-6" wide x 10'-6" tall.

At the back of the courtyard is what was the three-story barn — the one-story entry dates to 1900 and was a commercial space for the dairy center — and at left is a one-story volume, also part of the 1900 building. The taller volume

When the pergola structure got to the large oak we notched it around the tree. We replaced the single entry door with twelve feet of glass to connect the inside to the outdoors and make the small living room feel bigger. PHOTO: Ignacio Salas-Humara

Porch & Patio
Simple, long lasting structure. 2-levels... Would it work on our house? Open entry to basement. .
For the Cider Barn -- we love the vibe of this. Deep balcony, free-standing metal stair -- soft "industrial" look meets barn, casement windows and doors. But we would want it to complement the materials of the house.
This porch and fenced yard are now at the back of the home. The spacious porch can be accessed from the upstairs or downstairs, and new windows and doors on both levels (about $16,500) light up the house. Exterior wall paint: Ashley Gray; exterior trim paint: Night Shade, both by Benjamin Moore
