built by a local woodworking shop - which is often less expensive than you might think, especially if using simple paint grade material as we did here. Cheers! Maggie

Where can I buy a huge bulletin board? I've looked online but cannot figure out where to buy it from all the options.

I noticed the rod dies into the wall and enables the panel to fit snug on the wall as well. We need something like this in our living room and would love to know what type of rod to use.

you hang the rods and accessories from the peg board? Did you use hooks or did you use screws? Also where did you get the ribbon holder?

What did you use to attach the rails to the pegboard?
It's called a peg board and you can find them at Lowes and Home Depot. They do not come in colors so you will need to paint it. A small roller makes it easy.
Painted pegboard. you can cut it to any shape or size and paint it any color. Spray paint will give you a good seal and finish in one step.
The best way to attach the railing is to use small bolts and screws, place them in the holes of the railing and twist the bolt tight on back of the pegboard.

did you use curtains for the canopy?
hung on eye hooks in the ceiling. Because of the spacing of the ribbons, we cut a few off and used the remainders as the tiebacks. Thanks for asking!

Thanks for your question....these were ready made tab curtains and then we screwed cup hooks into the ceiling - 2 tabs per
per hook. The tiebacks are tabs from the ends of the curtains that we cut off.
