Row House Interiors Play Area/Guest Room
Do you like your decision to have the doors swing into the room vs. the bathroom? Regrets? We are deciding this for our new home and can't make up our minds.
could be caused by poor installation, but I've seen it happen too often and won't be using pockets in my new home. If doors interfere with a dining or living room space, another option is french doors. Even in a 36" opening, you can get two 18" doors so there isn't one wide door to take up a lot of floor
I believe you should always have bedroom and bathroom doors swing into the room, and outside doors should always open inward. The exception, as katydidit mentioned, is to use pocket doors. I personally don't like pocket doors for bedrooms or bathrooms

Patsy, to answer your question, it is because we give design advice for a living, so it doesn't make sense to give away room plans for free. But thank you so much for the comment and compliment.

Love this for a kids room
Claassen recently redesigned her son William's room, to transition it from a nursery to a "big-boy's room." Like the rest of the house, she wanted it to feel distinctly Scandinavian, so she stuck to a simple palette with a mix of furniture from IKEA and salvaged antiques. Bedding: IKEAHeadboard: IKEAMap:
aren’t the only factors that inject interest into this bedroom; it’s the winning combination of colours and patterns. The bedding alone features stripes and spots, and the striped blind adds to the fun. Natural timber gives the room warmth and depth to balance out all those competing patterns.
