This is a fun idea for a kids space. I wondered what the wall height is. Would my basement--8 foot ceilings--be able to have a space like this? thanks!
Wondering how big is the space behind the wall?
I was hoping you could tell me where the rug came from. Thanks!! Great space.
the steps and wall with holes in the playroom to create distinct spaces. Gives accent too.
A fence could be erected between the evergreen trees with openings like this to create a private space for the kids to hang out .

crawl space to special nook. Really fun lay out for a kid's room.
play space. Speaking of more casual spaces, try out a new hue in a child's bedroom or playroom. Your little ones will have strong opinions and brilliant ideas about color you may not have thought of.

I love this room and I love how there is space for storage under the children's beds, and it isn't messy or that noticeable. I have been looking into bedroom storage chicago for some help with that. I also love the idea of fitting the kids beds in a windowsill. How did you find mattresses the right size
LOOOOVE THIS for my girls' room!!!! Great space saver!
A great way to make the shared space personal to each child is to let them pick
Trying to figure out how to maximize space in a room that will be shared? Bunk beds are always an option for making the most of space in a shared room, but for a more sophisticated look, go for bed cubbies. Despite the fact that they’re in the same space, these room-sharers will appreciate the sense

Play space. If space permits, dedicate a room for your children's playthings. When children have a place to call their own, they tend to migrate there.
Get as much off the floor as possible. Kids want room to play! An open space will mean a safer place to play and fewer
5. Tidy up kids' spaces. Even though it might not stay clean for long, it's worthwhile to make the effort and get your children's play space under control before the holidays. Using organization techniques that'll encourage kids to put things away may help the space stay tidy — at least until

I like the idea of that encapsulation. Very futuristic! Wonder how that would work in a small condo bedroom space too

Fun boys room with a robot/space theme. The interior design as well as the great window treatment were designed by Atlanta designer Angela Hogan. Mural and photo credit/Anita Roll. This room was featured in Good Homes India/May 2013. Robot bedding is from Land of Nod.
Robots, outer space, murals on the wall.
Wall color for space themed room
I love this space-theme room because it stays on topic but doesn't feel busy. The mural is great, but that silver valance is pure genius.

same room. 3 year old twin boys and 7 year old girl. There bedroom is much smaller than the picture. What would be some good ideas to create the right space for all of them and still be safe for the 3 year olds?
How high is the ceiling? How much space is there b/w loft and ceiling?
the vertical space. Or perhaps a double bunk with a single on top? Also instead of a trundle she could try a murphy bed, although they can be expensive. If anyone in the family is handy you can buy murphy bed kits online and build one as well.
Built in bunk beds can be a great space saver and can
There is only 7' at the highest point. Definitely a space for kids . . .
The ceiling of the loft is 8' above the floor. This leaves plenty of room for the beds. The loft itself is not officially an occupiable space as Fred mentioned. This allows for some interpretation from code officials. Hope that helps!

Bonus room good use of space
I love using a wasted space as a shelving/bookshelf thing but love that it can be a desk especially for Tweens/teens that don't want to do homework at that kitchen table
