My house is down with a type of knock down texture. I am pregnant and really want to have a tree similar to yours to hang wooden letters for my baby but I am nervous to spend this amount of money if it wont attach to the wall
elegant baby's room I have seen, I really love it! I would have liked to see wooden floors instead of carpet though.
custom section for a similar look.
for the babies room. Plus we are doing ours on reverse of yours. Instead of green we found a pale blush pink for one stripe (satin paint) and pale pink rose (flat paint) the other with tiny black lines between the colors...a dark espresso wood for a high chair rail and egg shell walls.and we are using
decorating my baby boy's nursery! I am trying my best to recreate this beautiful room, however, the crib is out of my price range:-( I would be so grateful if you could atleast recommend another option, or atleast a furniture color that would compliment the rest of the decor in this room! Thank you so much!
painted my baby's nursery to best resemble the one you have pictured here. Because I am not going with the pewter iron crib, I am uncertain of the furniture finish/color I should go with. for our baby boy to arrive and I love this! Thank you!
Yes that's exactly what you do! I've done this in the little girl's room (with pink walls), the blue nursery, black bedroom, and
do the sections in between, have him nail the trim directly to the wall in rectangles or squares (however you want your wainscoting to look). Then he will paint the chair rail, trim on the wall, the wall in between and baseboards the same color and it will look like expensive wainscoting without the cost
Getting baby to sleep in the middle of the day can prove difficult with the sun blaring in — but not with blackout shades. Have a blackout lining — a very dense fabric that light can't penetrate — sewn onto the back of any drapery fabric.Tip: For absolute darkness, install floor-to-ceiling drapes 18 inches
Is there orange used in this room or just red and blue?
she used blue painters tape to section off each color. Let each color dry thoroughly before moving on to the next and wa-la....there you have it.
Thanks for the question and good luck with your project! We'd love to see photos of what you come up with!!

first baby and a big part of the family. I had them printed at Costco, all 3 for $12 and then I used Ikea frames I had and wasnt using and took them in for custom matting. The matting is the most expensive part, about $40 per pic.
our new baby, we opted for a gender-neutral baby animal-themed space. After meeting our little girl, coral was brought in as an accent color through the curtains, bedding and artwork. Hi Tessa, this is a generic rug from Home Depot or Lowes - found it all rolled up in the carpet section! It holds up to the wear and tear of a toddler very well. I highly recommend Overstock
