The wires are hidden by recessing tubing inside the wall and then running the cables through the tubing. They run from TV height to the bottom where the credenza covers them and you can connect to the cable box and video game console.
the late reply... The wires are "hidden" by recessing them into the wall at TV height, but they come out of the wall behind the credenza, where the cable box and video game console are located. I hope this helps. :)
