I like small bedrooms for the kids

Put up a wall-sized mural. When you walk into a small room with oversized wall graphic, your
move in a small space. This map covers and entire wall and its size draws attention away from the fact that the room is only as wide as the bed is long.

fun. The design leaves room for eclectic additions and creations (necessary in a creative child's room). The colors are vibrant and fun, the patterns circular and full of movement, and the bed is situated in a cozy and intimate spot in the room.

I am glad you found what you needed. The ones on my design are 13' long and 2.5" thick. They do the whole room length.
How the small space is utilized
great space for family photos. The limitations of height keeps them more or less in line, and the matching paint on the shelves and walls allows them to stand out.
This room's design shows how unobtrusive and sleek the Parsons desk is. It doesn't take up a lot of physical space, and it takes even
visual space. A clunky desk with lots of drawers would have made this room look much too cramped.

books as a design element: turning paperbacks so that their pages face outward. To me, this feels like a novel (sorry) take on the classic designer's trick of covering books in white paper for a uniform look.

A bit TOO white, and I prefer flat walls rather than the gappy paneling, but that is just me... good use of vertical space though...
