Splendid Willow
Big Boys' Bedroom
A simple, easy to clean (!), soothing (colors, lighting, vibe) bedroom with a Scandinavian touch. We painted the walls white and the ceiling soft, light blue. A lot of the furnishings are from Ikea!

Like the rest of the house, she wanted it to feel distinctly Scandinavian, so she stuck to a simple palette with a mix of furniture from IKEA and salvaged antiques. 4. Make do. It isn't necessary to purchase expensive storage systems to organize toys. Look around your home and see what you already have on hand that may work. I love the idea of utilizing an old crate, as shown here, to store toys. Four wheels make pushing

Cottages and summer homes are great places for bed cubbies, since they’re often filled with extra family and visitors. This family room transforms into sleeping quarters by night thanks to built-in bed nooks.

This is not exactly exotic, but it is also very Scandinavian. Colorful details against an all-white background are a dead giveaway.
