Hello, aloha707. Both beds--top and bottom bunks--are twin sized. The scale of the bottom bunk may be hard to read since the wall behind it curves and the cabinetry is cut to fit the
Lofted bunk top.

the base fabric is a white canvas cotton, pretty easy to find. The top paneling is a duck cotton in yellow with patterned trim
4m high. The stripes help the eye manage/take in the space better. However, key to your approach is starting with your solid or darker color at the top. If your second color is the same as, or similar to your ceiling, it will only accentuate the height, making the space feel more open.

combo: Tray + books + small, medium and tall objects. Start with a small pile of books on your tray. Place a small object (the size of a big seashell) on top. Next to the books, place a medium and a tall object, like a medium-sized candle and a tall vase with flowers.

Questions3
The ceiling height at the tallest part is 42" from the top of the matress to the header. It is fine for sleeping in and a good use of knee wall space, but they are a little tight for an adult sitting on the bed. The ceilings were covered in leftover wallpaper (hence the different ceilings in the bunks)
