Questions6
Dark wood cabinets were replaced with custom, white-painted units that offer a mix of open and closed storage. One of the goals was to have the new kitchen tie in architecturally to the rest of the house. We replicated 1920s design elements, including cutouts at the base of the cabinets and an Art Deco
Deco style range hood. The combination of glass doors on the upper cabinets and open shelving helps to visually expand the space. The range was moved to a position formerly occupied by the refrigerator, which was placed further down the wall. The dishwasher and the refrigerator, a fully integrated model

The cabinets are oiled walnut on the bottom and holly on the top. The doors and drawer-fronts are solid wood, no veneers. Totally beautiful work by South Slope
How LOVELY! It almost looks like they used those Ikea Ivar cabinets, and stained the
Drawers and cabinets!! Love this look.

Love the wood cabinets-long base drawers and lighter tone uppers
cabinets. again, we like the rustic with clean contemporary look. We do not want to invest much $$ in keeping the current cabinets, but if the budget requires us to wait on the kitchen, could we keep the current cabinet frames, drawers, etc, but can we put new faces on cabinet fronts like
and Maletz seamlessly integrated them into the new design. Both pieces shed indirect light onto the upper cabinetry. Task lighting under the upper cabinets illuminates the countertop. Calacatta marble countertops, white walls and the milk glass tile backsplash help to offset the wood. Pendant: Nelson

Questions2
a 1930s Portland, OR home, this kitchen remodel aims for a clean, timeless sensibility without sacrificing the space to generic modernism. Cherry cabinets, Ice Stone countertops and Heath tile add texture and variation in an otherwise sleek, pared down design. A custom built-in bench works well for eat-in

These particular cabinets were custom made featuring a shaker door style. These cabinets featured inset doors which is a common period detail.
The cabinets were finished with a lacquer that was made to match Benjamin Moore color HC-24
I'd like to know this too. I need to figure out a cabinet color for our 1939 home and didn't want a bright white. This color is perfect
