I have this material in my kitchen and have used it several times in both custom and spec homes. I have found it listed under Vermont White And Super White depending on supplier.

The beams and the entire timber frame are locall milled Vermont hemlock
from Maine earmarked to do the job (7 hour drive away) and they approached us to be the local builders. Ironically, the client decided to use local Vermont wood (hemlock) instead of douglas fir so it made sense to use a local company.
