Vintage barn frame addition to Dutch stone house
View of kitchen area -- two inch thick marble counter, La Cornue stove in “Jaguar Burgundy”, Tuscan grille on right. We decided to build some cabinets in white oak and paint the others. The cooking area floor is large scale ceramic tile that looks like rusted iron sheets.
The red La Cornue stove is the only splash of color. The custom vented alcove mirrors the fireplace in the living area at the other end of the great room.Countertops, backsplash: Danby Marble

I didn't work on the dining room. I'll ask the Owner and get back!
vent hood it was best to take it all down. Bead board was not only the more economical choice for replacement but something we felt would give the room more character.
get pantry storage between the exterior door and the refrigerator too...its just not seen in the pictures. All the cabinets are 24" wide, giving the room a nice rhythm and making it look a bit bigger.
Extra deep, but only the width of a standard refrigerator. The exact measurements are 11'4" by 12' and I am concerned whether the room is too wide. And the ceilings are only 6'8", so I am thinking of recessed lighting. I saw some 2.5" fixtures on the site you used for the central lighting

color and style inspiration for living room
I love everything about this room
The element of surprise is a key aspect of eclecticism — and it’s often the very thing that makes an eclectic room look cohesive. Color is a great tool you can use to that end. The cobalt La Cornue range against the robin's egg blue wall in this kitchen is an unexpected

The stainless fridge picks up on the range's stainless accents, and the hand-carved
