distance between stove and vent bottom?
How does the fan vent out?
Who is the manufacturer and style # of the over the range vent? thank you!
your kitchen now that vents to The outside then it's no problem. If your current exhaust fan blows back into the room then you have a problem. If your kitchen is just by chance on an outside wall then this will work. Good luck
What if it is installed in a condo? How would one vent it?
The vent is an insert which is made by Broan as well as lots of other kitchen hood manufacturers. The motor is a "remote" unit mounted on the roof. It is not necessary to have a "remote" fan. These units are made with integral fan motors also which are installed in custom
custom cabinetry and simply vented out the side wall or roof.

So is there a fan or anything in there? Or does it work like a funnel and vent through the roof? What did you attach the old light with? Appears to be some kind of grill in there. Thanks!!
what did you use for the kitchen vent / food? could you provide some details please....
Was the vent hood custom? Or is there a vendor who builds these hoods?
apt. kitchen stove and need a vent hood. All the hoods I've found online are at least 30"--10" larger than the stove itself. The house I live in was build in 1914 so the apt. is decorated cottage style. Please let me know if you have any ideas?
The fan is a new bathroom fan with a 1950s style grill.
I picked up that white shroud part first, and then found pipe and a fan that fit the pipe.

Would love to know where to the ceiling fan
I searched on the suggested lumens site, but did not see this fan. I also searched on the Products page on here, but no luck. This is exactly the right size and style I need.
Where was the fan purchased? Also, is it black or brown? Thanks!
Love the fan/light combo fixture....where to buy one similar?

How does this vent above the cook top works? It looks like there is the 2nd floor above it?
Who is the manufacturer of the ceiling light?
252-3244 If, however, you are referring to the vent hood, it was custom crafted by the contractor.
I wish I could answer your question, but I am not sure as it was installed by the builder and his fabricators. Yes, there is a 2nd floor above, so it might vent out into the porch beyond the windows but

Placing the sink on the dogtrot side dictated that the range be placed in the island, and the clients' range required a commercial vent hood.Frustrated with the choices available (too contemporary or too typical), Pylant wanted something large scale that looked like it was fashioned

are the colors on the wall and ceiling. thanks.
Hi Skavan, The owner picked the fan - It looks similar to the Benito
Hi Tess Wakefield, The fans and lighting were selected by the Owner. It looks like this fan is a Zonix by Fanimation. If you would like to know more about the project, please give us a call and we will connect you with the architect responsible.
Hi cazaresm, The ceiling is a typical ceiling white, that many paint manufacturers offer. The walls are a pale celery green. These colors create additional warmth and work well with

Why isn't the hood vented out the roof in this one-story home?
Like the vent all by itself!
Can you tell me what you have on the wall where the vent is? Is it some kind of steel? Thanks so much!
panels...... Also is the vent galv semi rigid duct? Like your style. Cheers
The roof is designed to retain the snow during the winter months and consequently was not a good location for the hood to vent. We chose to vent to the side instead.

Can you tell me the manufacturer of the in-ceiling can light fixtures? They are the color and style I'm looking for.
I too would be interested in this information. It appears to be extremely hard to source ceiling extractors in North America, and the reviews on pop-up hood fans seem to be lacklustre. Thanks!
I love the wood on the ceiling. Again, it sets the kitchen apart without any actual barriers or walls.

I like how cabinets go to ceiling
will definitely require a dropped ceiling. Note: The higher a fan sits, the more powerful it has to be, which may result in a draft when you're standing under it. Kitchen fans also are designed to trap grease and steam as close to the source as possible. The higher the fan, the easier it is for vapors to
