I typically try to tie in the back-splash field tile with the cabinet tone and then accent it with something that will pick up
the grey in the stone from the fireplace. This kitchen, even though it looks white, has an apricot 'glazing' over a cream white paint on the cabinets. The glazing picks up the glazing color in the tile. The stone is a soft green granite, more granulated than marble in movement. Hope this helps.

Yes, it's got a touch of grey in it, too. It goes more blue or green depending on what's around it. Definitely get a sample prior to ordering.
