Why isn't the hood vented out the roof in this one-story home?
Like the vent all by itself!
Can you tell me what you have on the wall where the vent is? Is it some kind of steel? Thanks so much!
to the hot rolled steel panels...... Also is the vent galv semi rigid duct? Like your style. Cheers
The roof is designed to retain the snow during the winter months and consequently was not a good location for the hood to vent. We chose to vent to the side instead.

Just hanging out. Venting cooktops in islands has always been a challenge. This sculptural vent with glass accents doesn't grab too much attention. The real show is outside.

itself. These arenusuallynsold by your appliance dealer. Third is the "structural" portion which holds the vent and/or entire unit to the wall, and finally is the "trim" or cover. Of course, some vent types cover more than one item, depending on the design. I assume your question was the latter, and you
