Featured in Period Homes Magazine, this kitchen is an example of working with the traditional elements of the existing Victorian Period home and within the existing footprint. The Custom cabinets recall the leaded glass windows in the main stair hall and front door.

I believe this set up has either a panel that raises from the stove top to vent or it is simply a fan under the microwave. The appliances are all furnished by the homeowner not us so I don't have a definitive answer, but there are many clever ways to vent!

What appliance is below the counter next to the ovens? Is that a warmer or small convection over? Anyone know the model for it?
I'd venture to guess 90 to 96" based on the appliance layout.
inquiry! The crown and baseboard directly attached to the cabinetry matches in finish. All other trim was painted to match the finish in the rest of the home.
Lots of appliances on one wall!
appliance wall for concept only not styling
Love the appliance layout. (Swap wine fridge for reg fridge)
Treat the TV as an appliance. When the TV is treated as one appliance among many on a wall, it almost becomes invisible. I love the idea of an appliance wall anyway. It just makes sense as compared to having them spread out all over the kitchen. None of these particular appliances are main tasking ones

some ideas on updating the finish to be more accommodating to 2013. The updates so far include a dark toned granite counters, and stainless steel appliances. Want to see more pictures of how to contrast the island color or something! Way too much blondeish knotty pine.. also newer stain finishes?
Beautiful kitchen! I'm modeling my island after this one and just want to make sure I allocate enough space between the range and the island to comfortably open the oven door.

Most beautiful home I've seen on Houzz!

stools, or chairs that are slightly higher than dining chairs. A comfortable clearance for people's knees below these countertops is 15 inches. Stools for raised 42-inch countertops are usually between 28 and 30 inches tall, giving a comfortable 12 to 14 inches of knee room. The recommended counter overhang

LOVE this kitchen, but could you tell me what the use is for the thin cabinet next to the refridgerator? I have one in my home now and don't know what to use it for.
from our blog of both. We sell 3x6" Bianco Honed for $7.50SF: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cacbiho3x6su.html Or 3x8" Subway Tile for $8.00SF: http://www.thebuilderdepot.com/cacbiho3x8su.html It does not seem to have a shine so my guess is a honed finish. That refrigerator looks amazing really nice

scheme is a bright & cheery shade of yellow throughout the kitchen. The windows lined next to each other create repetition. The back splash and appliances make an off set to balance out the yellow.

I have that dilemma- trying to determine what appliance pallette to go with or can you mix and match? My kitchen
