Can cork flooring be used throughout a house or is it too soft for entrance ways? I heard that high heels could damage cork flooring, is that correct?
Who is the manufacturer of that cork floor?
specify which of the photos you are looking at. The 1st photo, though it is not my cork floor, would be Forna's "Salami". As a glue down tile, it sells for $1.78/sf and as a floating floor (click-together floor) it sells for $2.97/sf. The second photo (again, not my flooring) would be named "Black
Beach" in Forna's library of cork. Black Beach glue down tile = $1.69/sf or a floating floor = $2.79/sf. The third photo (again, not my floor) would be a version of Forna's "Taupe Leather". So far, it only comes in a floating floor = $3.89/sf You can find all of these floors (or Forna's versions of them)

This wonderful kitchen uses light cabinetry at top and dark cabinetry at bottom for a stunning effect. The light cork floor is both environmentally-friendly, soft under foot and reflects the wall cabinets beautifully. Brookhaven cabinetry by Wood-Mode, Sausalito, Natural on maple for uppers and talls
are those cork floors? I love them. Can yu tell me the color?
natural grain of the cork. I have recently spoken with client as well and they still love everything about this kitchen including the floor. Install and treat the cork floor properly from the start and it will serve you for a very long time.

Love the flooring...what brand and color?
The colour would be known as "natural" and the "pattern" is most likely the standard granulated pattern. That is to say, up close it looks like cork board. What you are seeing is the slight variation in colour between each plank. This is normal/natural and will eventually fade down/even out to a single

It's from APC Cork Inc, 7/16" planks.
12"x36" tongue&groove cork planks (not the kind with a top veneer), water-based polyurethane finish.
The salvaged Douglas fir shelves come from the original 120-year-old wall, making the kitchen and historic home more cohesive. These shelves, the cork flooring and the paper-based countertops will all ding, dent and darken over time to meld with the home's old charm. Gainer found the antique chandelier
want a faux old-fashioned or disjointed modern style to replace it. Instead, Gainer merged the kitchen and dining room, using Douglas fir shelves, cork flooring and paper-based countertops that will all show signs of gentle wear. Over time, this new kitchen will start to blend with the home's older bones
