are the cabinets set on the cork floor?
I believe that extra coat also gives it a depth that sets it apart from other cork floors.
This is a cork floor - square tiles - in a chestnut colour. There is an extra coat of a laquer of some type over the floor to give it the extra shine.

Do you need to wash the corks and dry them in the sun prior to making a cork backsplash wall?
How did you make that wall
That cork wall is so cool
long. The corks are laid out in alternating angles so there will be some spaces at the top and bottom of the design which I can fill in with glass or marbles. What would you use for backing (to attach the corks on? I don't want to attach the corks directly to the wall. I'm planning to do 1/2" border

Is cork a good choice for our kitchen floor. It is suppose to be waterproof, mildew & mold resistant, easy on legs after long standing.
I like the green subway tiles and overall color

I relly want cork in my kitchen, but need to find wiht very limited pattern

Yes. That has all the earmarks of a cork floor. I'm not sure of the make/colour, but we have one that is similar in pattern...if not in colour.

closest picture I've seen to our real kitchen. HATE that tile. Cabinets are better than ours, though. I think I'd prefer if the cork had less pattern.
