Hi - the knobs are 1 1/4". I have different sizes of the Bistro pulls -- most are 4", but it depends on the width of your drawers. For the desk drawers I used 3" pulls, and for the false drawer in front of the island prep sink I used the largest size which works great for hanging a dish towel
