Love the dog dishes! My dog is very messy when she drinks, is water damage a concern?
My dog is a Black Lab and she dribbles water out of her jowls after she drinks water. Is that section of the island made of a durable, water proof material, or do you have to clean up after your pet?
is one of these a water bowl? Where do you keep the dog waterer?
I can't feed my dogs too close together like that, but having a watering bowl that is tapped in to the sink...THAT would be cool! Could that be done? That refills when getting too low?
There are three bowls. 1 is usually for food, the other water....why a third? Shouldn't there be an even amount?

I just ordered a wood countertop from my cabinetmaker...we chose Sapele and yes, I cannot set anything hot on it, cut on it, leave water on it. But I don't do that now and I have yucky tile!

Sounds like an excellent project. The Boston Design Center is currently designing a roof garden to grow produce! I'll inquire if someone there may have guidance for you.....Outdoor gardens are outside our area of expertise.
