Open and airy, the dutch door only helps to enhance that feeling.
Colaneri installed a Dutch door that leads to the deck. “This family has small children,” says Carrino. “The door is perfect because it lets fresh air in while keeping the kids from running out.”
8. Try a small swap with a big payoff. Even a small change, like swapping a solid kitchen door for a glass version

who is the manufacturer of this dutch door
Thank you for the question. These doors were built by a millwork company in Atlanta. Almost any millwork company can build them though. While there may be a manufacturer that makes a "stock" Dutch door, I am not familar with one.

This is the view from inside the butler's pantry shown above. This style of door can be designed as a solid door on the lower half and upper half, or with glass panes. Glass panes on upper portion allow for increased light and view into this wonderful pantry.

where did you get the dutch door?
This is the apartment kitchen located above the garage. The Dutch door opens to the connecting bridge with oval window between the two structures.
The door was custom built at a local shop.
i like double dutch door and banquette
love the half door idea for somewhere.
Love the half door and bench seat
This landing area connects the main house to the garage apartment. With a Dutch door, a farmhouse sink, antique wood furniture and a color palette of red, black and white, the style is a mild departure from the rest of the house.

high is this door....8 ft? do you have all the dimensions of this door? I love it!!
what type of 2 panel door is this? thanks!
I notice one knob on the lower cabinets. Does one door overlap the opposing door so that if you pull the knob you can open both doors? And if so
so, is there a name for that style of cabinet or door?
I'm guessing those are folding doors that open to reveal a washer & dryer so only one knob is necessary.
I'd recommend calling this a 2 panel shaker style door. We and many other door manufacturers simple call this a 2 Panel Door - with a S sticking or "shaker" sticking, and a "F" or Flat Panel
tall door. Industry standards recommend 4 hinges on over 7'0" tall doors, plus your lock is usually at 36" off the floor, so based on 20 years experience, figure this to be an 8'0" tall door. When doing 8'0" tall doors, I'd highly recommend going with an 1-3/4" thick door.

Do you refinish the doors or is it a new door? Do you ship to Illinois?
Hi, what is the width of the stile and rail of the shaker door? Also, can you add them to the top drawer instead of just a slab? Thanks
I'm familiar with your product and process and find it genius. My question is: how do you recommend finishing the shaker line? Is there a preferred process/type of craftsman that will know how best to finish
When i was in Ikea i noticed the cabinet doors did NOT close tightly so you could see the plates and glasses inside the cabinet, while the doors were closed. It was very pronounced as the cabinets were Adel Medium Brown. Can Ikea cabinets doors be adjusted to close tightly and conceal all inside?
