large, central island, complete with bar seating, a prep sink, storage, pullout trash cans and oyster-shell chandeliers. The marble countertops require some care and maintenance, but the couple was willing to take the extra care to keep them in good shape. Feldt also sealed the counters with

atop a large cream colored rug from The Rug Company. The dramatic powder room features a leather door with contrast stitching; the walls are tiled in black stainless steel penny rounds. A variety of texture and materials were used to create a sense of continuity throughout the space. Hand scrapped walnut wood planks were chosen to create a sense of warmth
