Well they are #2 red oak, 4in wide planks, nailed down on 3/4" plywood subfloor with the slab sealed in tar and plastic first. We used a red mahogany stain and cut it just a little with 1/4 vandike brown stain. Thats it :)
over 8 years on this house, we used Sherman Williams Red Mahogany stain, then cut it with 1/4 Van Dyke Brown to take out some of the red. The floors themselves are real on site 3/4 think planks and are Red Oak. Best advice, get some stains, play with them and test them on scrap wood you have left over

Hi Thomas, First of all thank you for being willing to answer people's questions. It is really kind of you, and useful for us. I don't really have a question, but I looked up the buckboard color and it appeared to be a much darker brown vs this photo which almost appears to be grey. Wierd

it is a 20% upcharge over the base woods (Alder, Pecan, and Oak). You might look at the color Riverbed, it is much more brown than grey, but not as dark and rich as Smokey Hills.
Hello Kandthouse, Our customer took care of the flooring on their own for this project, so we don't have any information
