The cabinets are by Quality Custom Cabinetry and it's doubtful that you'd find someone to attempt to dismantle the joinery of the door frames in order to remove the glass. Risky business!
less expensive solution to these pricier materials. If you choose simply to paint the walls, consider a glaze or other treatment that will keep them from feeling flat. For the floors, slate and limestone, natural wood and tumbled earthen tile all strike the right notes.

Where is the ladder from and how much space is needed for this ladder?
I've always wanted a ladder that wouldn't take up a lot of floor space. This is perfect! Where can I get one? Or if it is custom made -- where can I get the hardware?

paint was used? Love the chairs also, any info where to buy. You achieved a relaxed kitchen and brought colors from the outside window inside. The brick floors also seems like a inspiration from the outside window. Bravo!

They are both from Thermador, the riser is the 22 inch high riser.
This project is from a few years ago, they might not be carrying them anymore
We bought them from www.barstools.com, unfortunately it seems they are no longer carrying these.
The bar stools came from barstools.com - it's been a while since we completed this project so I don't know that they still carry these specific stools.
