with the tiles as they all seem to be warped. This causes the corners to come up and makes a smooth surface impossible. I absolutely LOVE the look, but am wondering if this is truly "an inherent trait of the tile" as we've been told, or if we might have defective tile. I was wondering if you had notice
factors. All tiles are slightly warped and can still fall within industry standards. In addition, the flatness of the floor, size of grout joint, and layout pattern can effect lippage. Please see the attached statement from the TCNA.
We just tried to have 4x36 "wood" tile put in for our kitchen remodel
and our tile layer found it impossible to lay because it was so warped. Beware of this!!
