fine with the cabinets but the white trim is fighting with the darker wood tones, black counters and backsplash. Consider painting the trim around the window and base board the same color as the walls or a shade lighter. Look for a very large scaled framed poster or blackboard on the opposite wall to balance
narrow cabinets for under windows in dining room area
The narrow cabinets by the door. Something like this would be nice under the dining room window.
single wall saves space for a dining set
So when is it good to have a single-wall kitchen? This confined room is a great example of when it's ideal. A galley kitchen would make the floor space too small and eat into the window opening.

I have a north facing room that has two very small windows and high ceilings. I love this color (looking for a warm color to accent with mahogany wood and tan paint) but am worried it will
Wondering what the mull and overall window dimensions are...thanks in advance :)
Hi, very nice. I love the windows, can you tell me the dimensions please?
what brand of window did you use? thanks you.
What are the window model make and #s? Looking for those exactly!

In the same way as the exteriors, the interiors are fresh reinterpretations of historical styles. For example, windows aren't just punched openings in a wall but expanses of glass that reach from floor to ceiling and corner to corner. You can't get more modern than that.

window seat and bank of windows
It's too modern for me - but I like the way the windowsill is built out into the room. I assume you can sit on it. It's different because it doesn't
Natural lightScandinavian style suits Australia’s sunny skies perfectly – Nordic homes are bright and beautiful and let the light flood in. Keep window treatments sheer or forego them entirely.SMART STRATEGY: Australians have the luxury of great weather for much of the year, but be sure to factor in

countertop help keep the the kitchen bright. Multiple pendent lights and under cabinet lighting are for general as well as task lighting. Large windows at corner bring in lots of natural light. The cat is particularly fond of that spot near the warm oven! David Sloane Photography

The kitchen was left as open as possible so that the view of the water could be accessible from the family room through the kitchen and out of the large bow window in the dining room. This kitchen’s clean contemporary lines stand in contrast to the homes otherwise traditional framework. Photographed
