Where can I purchase statuary backsplash tile? Size of tiles?
I am currently renovating my kitchen and have the white shaker style cabinets with super white quartzite countertop and been looking for best option for the backsplash and I really like the statuary tile but not sure if it will
will compete with all the movement in my countertop. I definitely don't want plain white subway tile. Was thinking 2x6 statuary staggered or herringbone layout...what's my best option for classic timeless look altogether ? Greatly appreciate feedback!!
Stautary Marble is similar to Calacatta Marble. Often with those two, in order to differentiate between very different slabs, other names are added so you get Calacatta Gold etc. I'm assuming Asian Statuary is in that category. Or, it's possible the Statuary marble was cut and polished in

Looks like a Calcatta Marble (maybe Statuary, but probably Calcatta) on the island, a honed absolute black granite (or other similar material) on the perimeter, and marble tile on the wall.
It looks like a Calacatta or Statuary (some Calacatta's are more gold/brown, it just depends).
