Hello, Elaine! Perforated metal panels would be a great way to let your stereo equipment "breathe" within your cabinets, and to allow remotes to operate without opening the doors.
Perforated metal cabinet doors lend a vintage look to this Portland, Oregon, kitchen. While some people opt for the metal to provide a shiny contrast, others prefer to paint it to match the cabinet wood, as these designers did. Cabinets: Versatile Wood Products; metal sheets: McNichols

Interesting idea to separate the kitchen from living areas without using a wall or giant door. How to clean a metal curtain tho?
metal mesh curtain to separate kitchen from other parts of the open floor plan
metal mesh to close off na open kitchen
Visually Close It OffThis is a cool option for a contemporary loft space. Metal mesh curtains installed on a track allow the kitchen to easily go from open to closed. The kitchen still has an open feel, but the curtain can disguise any kitchen messes. It certainly discourages visitors from getting in

I love those wood and metal shelves! Were they custom made or can they be bought?
Hello, where might I be able to purchase those metal pot racks for underneath the shelving? Thank you and great work
Thank you! Unfortunately these were custom made by a local metal smith for this client.
The shelf brackets and pot hangers below are custom and were made by a local metal fabricator. The shelf is cut from a section of end grain bamboo butcher block.

its a metal tile by crossville...fun!
I like the sparatic larger tiles on the metalic
several manufacturers that sells textured metallic tiles. Crossville’s are made of metal covered resin or porcelain. They require a 4½-inch distance between the tile surface and a heating element, such as a stove — something to keep in mind when using a wrapped metal tile product on a kitchen backsplash.
Because of the fluid nature of metal, most metal tiles have a clean, sleek look that supports a very contemporary aesthetic. However, the installation shown here carries over well into a transitional or traditional setting. The textured surface of these tiles (which the designer says are no longer available)

Metal tiles. Tin ceiling tiles add an antique look and is a welcome alternative to typical dropped ceiling grids with ceiling tiles.
Pressed metal. Lovers of pattern and metallics rejoice: this is a ceiling just for you. No doubt visitors to this home are drawn to its moody but ornate detailing.
this effect at home, don’t be surprised if guests request if they can reach up and touch it (so have a step ladder handy).BONUS TIP: If the pressed metal effect is too much for you in ceiling form, try it as a splashback instead.
