It has a mill finish that is not pristine. It will definitely patina over time similar to zinc. It can rust if standing water is left on it, but it can also be easily buffed out. We typically use a food safe oil treatment to keep it in shape.

another question that you said this floor is" Garrison II white oak with grey wash". I've tried to find that floor, but it looks nothing like this one. The Garrison II grey wash is very grey in color. Did you apply the grey wash after installation? We are building a home and I absolutely love this floor
