Beautiful design! Can you tell me what material/color the white countertops are and are there any other more durable options for a brown island counter?
The designer wants to add a thick crown molding in white above my existing maple cabinets to take them to the ceiling (similar to the thick crown I. This kitchen photo). The Crown would also be added around the kitchen. Will it look good to mix white with Maple???? I am a little worried :-/
with this design? If not, would it be OK to change the floor even though the kitchen meets up with the family room which is also in vintage natural maple. I probably wouldn't change the family room floor color, but could use area rugs to perhaps balance things out.
