The new kitchen bar counter sits where a wall was originally. Two species of wood were used in the cabinets, walnut and alder. What are some of the pros and cons to having concrete counters?
kitchen, just the space between top and floor cabinets. Should I use dar, med or light color tile back splash. Lastly, I am very very rough on my kitchen counters and I love love to cook. I would love concrete countertops, but know tthat is not realistic-what do you recommmend?? Thanks, Judy

This one level flat was completely gutted by a fire. We completely changed the layout of rooms. The wood feature wall is composed of reused studs that were charred in the fire. will be a little cheaper than concrete. High quality granite will be more expensive than concrete. Nothing compares to the possibilities offered by concrete. Of course, I'm biased. I love concrete! If your budget is tight and you need to save money then get tile. Otherwise, get what really makes
out of the forms, the concrete must be processed and sealed. A fabricator will take everything into consideration when putting together an estimate. Tile will be the cheapest. You will have to deal with the grout lines visually but there are some very attractive tiles. Granite from a big box store will
