right side of the path, there is a clump of tall reddish-brown spires. They are in front of the ceonothus, and in between the two grasses. I looked at many salvias, but none resembled the spires in the picture. Are they Heucheras? Continue to be in awe of this exquisite design. Thanks :)

We have poured a pebble color coping. Looks nice, but we are thinking of pouring a slightly lighter patio colored patio and pacers. Pebble again but 25 to 50% lighter. Have you done it this way before?

I agree. We have motion sensor sprinklers as well, but our deer have become used to them and now ignore them. We've had to build cages around our raised beds.
