I love this design but can't figure out what the soft foliage is around the rocks. Can anyone tell me?
This low-water design is anything but dreary. It's a fabulous example of using contrasting textures for impact, especially in a small space. The needle-fine blue fescue grasses look soothing as a carpet beneath bold-shaped, red-tinged Kalanchoe, also known as paddle plant. I'm not certain which cultivar
cultivar the designer used, but one that's similar is the aptly named Kalanchoe thyrsiflora 'Bronze Sculpture'.

Not quite sure what you mean by the question? The timber landing is only around 1200mm wide. The whole back yard is 5 x 10m. Its a small courtyard design.
C.O.S Design Its a 500 x 1000mm flamed granite paving, some stone merchants call it raven finish rather than flamed.

Love this design, with mulch or oak leaves in passage way.
This designer has created curved islands of edible plants, rather than the typical rows. It makes it more fun to walk around when gathering fresh veggies or when showing off one's hard work to visitors.
