It's actually solid bluestone and yes, it's custom but very easy to achieve. It just hangs off the wall and sits on a solid upright.
think it's a bit over the top. There's an overuse of wood, especially on decking (reminds me a bit of an outdoor dance floor). The wood fencing seems like a great way to hide the rain catchment tank. A less expensive way could be done with cedar fence boards with the same kind of a system.
