How do you control vibration with the washing machine elevated in this manner?
These were existing 6" and 10" pulls from the clients' home prior to the renovation so unfortunately we do not have the information as to where you could find them.

First time renovator with my house down to studs.. Any ideas for wiring or conduit I should plan for?
There are so many great photos of counters over the front loading washer/dryers, but I have yet to find one that does not seem to be "staged". A dryer can not be placed flat against a wall because of the vent
I think if you give some room between the top of the washer and the underside of the counter, you may be able to have a counter there after all.
to be raise it and support it for clearance per the manufacturers suggestion of an inch all around the machines. The counter is 3/4" thick and the front edge is 1/1/2" thick to match the adjacent laminate flatwork counter. Hope this helps!

I notice that the washer/dryer are elevated - did you construct the shelf? If so, what materials were used and how did you decide on height? Is that useable space under the shelf? Tnx.
so that it could be swung up so the humans could step into the area and not crouch down and bang their head every time they went to stand up while/after washing the dogs.
