$1.50/yard white fabric from Walmart :-) It was simply stapled onto the floor joists and draped in place. Yes it was done to cover pipes, electrical, heating ducts, etc.

How do you connect the water and electricity as well as the dryer duct to back of this when it's enclosed? We want to do this but I don't know how I would get the washer and dryer connected
cabinet vented in anyway? I was looking at the spec requirements and they indicate venting is required e.g. a mesh or slats about the size of a air/heat register.
