The shower is a good idea but the glass seems a little dangerous for large breed dogs... I have mastiffs and I think it would break... Any ideas on what else to put in? Because I like the idea just not the glass.

I mentioned this idea to my home builder and he expressed concern about the washer moving while going through the spin cycle.
a clothes line. Here in Australia, even in the most 'expensive' suburbs, you'll find a clothes line somewhere out the back or round the side of the house. Laundries in Australian homes tend to be near the back door so you can walk out to the clothes line.

I wonder what the noise and vibration is like in the rest of the House around the closet. Is it on the second floor? Did you do something to manage the noise? Does it shake the house? We have recently done something similar and the vibration has been a huge issue.
Any idea where a sliding door like that can purchased in Toronto?

this house is from the Donald Kaufman Color collection (by Pratt & Lambert). The walls of Laundry Room/Pantry are DKC-2 in a Latex Eggshell finish.

Love it ! What a brilliant idea for a doggie scrub down zone ! Outdoors works fine in warm weather but winter is another matter. This is also a fine use for the Transferware tile.

I believe that is an antique. This homeowner had amassed a house worth's of furniture for years while planning her renovation, including the tiles used in the dog bath.

These are the original 2x8 V-groove tongue-and-groove decking boards that actually make up the entire roof and ceiling structure for Eichler houses. Above those boards there is insulation and then a roof membrane. No attic!
