Hi Mott21- The countertop over the washer and dryer was custom made of Engineered Quartz Stone (I believe we used Caesarstone's Buttermilk) and it was fabricated & installed by the same company that fabricated and installed the black stone countertops. However, If you wanted to copy the look without
washer/dryers, and you're right, it can be really tough to incorporate an appliance with a depth of 30-36" in a typical laundry room. In this case, we made them appear smaller by recessing them into the wall behind. It also helps to "recess" them into the cabinetry by building a cabinet surround and adding
island in the middle), the cabs are 18" deep. In regard to sourcing, I'm afraid I can't be much help; the cabinets, as mentioned above, were custom made locally, and the central table belonged to the client. I would think, however, that you could find something similar in one of the catalog stores
