Laundry Room
deleted. Love the design....we need to redo our laundry room but I haven't figured the space out as yet. We have approximately 8'9"x11'10" to work in.
What color are the built-ins for jackets etc... painted please?
good idea to combine the laundry and mud room right off the garage. would also be a good place to put the dog kennels (in maybe a built-in countertop)
a little training, would be perfect laundry minions. And, if we labeled it "Learning Responsibility and Life Skills," it would be considered good mothering rather than lazy homemaking. Yes! I began to teach the big kids, then 10 and 12, how to do their own laundry that very day. It took quite a while

It's very pretty, but is 22" the deepest width it comes in? That won't work well for a standard 24" kitchen counter depth.

in a garage or basement is common but generally not very convenient. Where is your ideal laundry spot? Mine would be right next to my master bedroom suite. Since I dress next to my closet, it would be most convenient for me to toss clothes straight into a nearby washer. Pulling clothes out of the dryer

dimensions and design of any room is planned to either work with an existing space or, if new construction, suit the client's particular needs. Your designer or architect would work this out to suit your project requirements. If you need help, please feel free to contact me directly. Cheers, Jodi.
countertop is supported by gables on either side, a ledger board on the back wall, as well as by an "apron" running below the entire width of countertop. (In this photo the apron and RH gable are visible... they are finished to match surrounding cabinets.) Hope that helps!
