slate, or porcelain? Honed, matte, or cleft finish? I have clients that wish to use quartzite on the floor but are concerned about tripping on the rough finish....
think it was roughly 14" x 14" -- Thanks, Cathy
Hi- the flooring is slate - cleft finish. It does have a certain roughness and unevenness
unevenness but nowhere close to something that would constitute a tripping hazard. I used this same tile in another bathroom and cut the 12 x 12's to 6 x 6 which looks nicer in a small bathroom and will reduce any offset due to the cleft finish even more. Thanks for the question -- Cathy

I like the rough-hewn plank used for a shelf on the left.
Organic FormsToo many mass-produced or overly tailored pieces dilute a room's rustic style. Instead, choose furnishings and objects with strong, slightly rough profiles, such as the bread trough, baskets and tray shown here.Inspired addition: It's nice to have a few sleek surfaces to tighten the look. What is on the ceiling. The paragraph you posted about the room was cut off right where you mentioned the ceiling. Thank you.
the quatzite from Home Depot on sale for $1.99 a square foot not from Northern Stone Supply as they have mentioned above. Also I said that it has a roughness or unevenness like slate without the shale edges, not, that it looks like slate as Benjiik has mentioned. It looks nothing like slate. I'd never
