I would really like to do a DIY of this project. I have a similar closet in my laundry room right now and am hoping I can just extend the plumbing and create a mudroom area where the washer and dryer are currently. Do you have any tips?
I wonder what the noise and vibration is like in the rest of the House around the closet. Is it on the second floor? Did you do something to manage the noise? Does it shake the house? We have recently done something similar and the vibration has been a huge issue
Frankly this was a complicated project that would be tough to correctly as a DIY project. Tips 1) Make sure your washer dryer fits through the door 2) think about combustion exhaust - check codes 3) think about access to the rear of the units
