Can this wood beam detail added to an 8 foot ceiling?
I'm looking for a way to add some character to an otherwise boring family room and love the idea of this cross pattern with wood beams. Would this, or smaller beams, work in a room with only 8 foot ceiling?
beams are stunning! was a stain applied? or just a sealer?
What material was used for the beams and how r they supported to the ceiling they look really heavy. Thanks and I look forward to your response. Great job in this room by the way!
I think it would work well using a 4" deep beam. Maybe locate some 8x8 stock and cut it in half?
