I love the idea of cermaic tiles as wall art. Can someone tell me how you would hang them on the wall?
I want to use real ceramic tile on the wall with out the board behind it. I need to know with each separate piece can i a glue the hook to the tile and use ribbon or fish string and hang
About how big are the tiles?
What is kind, color, of tile? Thanks
How did you hang the wall tiles?
http://unaluntile.com/wall-tile-process-installation/installing-wall-tiles/ It's basically a wooden backing on the tile with a hole cut out. The hole fits on a wooden disk that attaches to the wall. Here's an example of our tile for the wall.
We make ceramic wall art tile and have developed our own
attach your D-clip to the back of the tile....make sure you measure the same distance from the top of each tile and perfectly center each clip. Anchor your screws into the wall and hook up your tile! Done like dinner!

Love the wall around this fireplace. Will it look this great if I use the tile http://www.porcelanosa-usa.com/home/products/tile/wall.aspx/d=12423/title=London_Nacar_?
i love the design to the fire place is it tiles if so where can i get
where can i purchase these tiles or how can i get my wall like this
The product details seem to indicate not using it in areas of direct or radiant heat, so curious about using with fireplace. Is this a decorative fireplace only then or will it be used and tiles are ok for this use?
who makes this tile and where can it be purchased?
modularArts products — large, tile-like pieces of reinforced plaster. Tip: If you’re considering a modularArts product in your home, be sure to hire a good drywall professional, as the joints will need to be plastered. Read more about textured walls

is in a custom surround - your actually seeing glass tile on the lower register, not stone.
The material surrounding the fireplace is a glass tile from Ann Sacks. It's called "Glace", in their "Sticks"
