“the same stone -- a honed black granite. If you look at another of my projects "Marin County House" you can find a similar fireplace and the image gives you a better sense of the detail. The outer frame of the surround is the 3/4" thick stone turned on it's edge - it sits proud of the face by 3/4" - 2"”
