cermaic tiles as wall art. Can someone tell me how you would hang them on the wall?
I want to use real ceramic tile on the wall with out the board behind it. I need to know with each separate piece can i a glue the hook to the tile and use ribbon or fish string and hang it up?

It depends on the weight of the tile. If it's heavy, I'd think about nailing a backing, like thin plywood, onto the walls (in the studs) and then using tile adhesive to that, then grouting in between. Cut the plywood a bit smaller than the

If I am covering the ceiling with bead board, would it okay to simply scrape off the popcorn to get a flat surface?
Finally, is bead board finish considered as an older style?
